chapter 3 anxiety comes to attack nat

Nat's point of view
The next morning after our bonfire I told Briggs who’s like a father to me since he’s over protective and everyone else I’m visiting my brother. Mike volantered to go with me but I told him I want to do this on my own please. they all nodded and looked up cases as I left. I knocked on Hack’s door and took a deep breath. He opened the door and pulled me in for a hug “its so good to see you sis.” I giggled “good to see you too little bro.” Even though Hack is wayy taller then me he’s acutully younger than me.  I took a deep breath as I walked in I asked him“hack?” He looked down at me and spoke “hm?” I looked nervously in his eyes and stuttered to get my words out “ha hack how can I tell them about my anxiety i’m nervous that I’ll have an attack when no one is home.” He looked at me stright in the eyes “Natalie listen to me you need to tell them before you hurt yourself.” I nodded and hugged him “you’re right hack i’m heading back to the house now but I’ll see you soon.” As I got back to the house I saw everyone was gone so I curled up in a ball in my room realising I don’t have any more meds for my anxiety which isn’t good. I pulled off my fedora and read a poem my two brothers wrote i’ve kept it in my hat ever since they gave it to me. a natalie is a strong brave girl. she isn’t afraid to stick up for herself. she is the best sister we could have. Don’t be afraid to ask for help little sis even when you don’t think you need it. Don’t give up and we will always be with you even if you can’t see us. Please don’t let your past take over your mind. I started having chest pains and feeling real dizzy. I slowly closed my eyes but suddenly blacked out.

mike’s point of view
The next morning Nat had explained to us that she is visiting her brother. I volantered to go with her but she didn’t want me to. I shrugged and went to get into my wetsuit. Johnny, Briggs and I went surfing for a while but after words they had to go out with Dale and paige went out but who knows where Charlie is. I went out to go for my morning jog hoping Nat would be alright with her brother. She doesn’t know my feelings for her yet which is good since I don’t want to cause her more pain then she’s already had with losing her other brother, being raped and almost being raped again. When I got back into the house I thought no one was in the house I saw someone’s hand near Nat’s door. When I opened it I saw Nat on the floor not moving. I started panicing but trying not to freak out I chose to carry her there myself but first I called everyone else and told them to meet me at the hospital.
